Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 FES is the second version of Persona 3 and it’s the only release with an epilogue that explains what happened to the silent protagonist. The extra episode called The Answer is a straight dungeon crawl where Aigis is the main character in a new storyline where the SEES members are trapped in a time loop. Aigis’ persona morphs into Orpheus and she gains the wildcard, which lets her change personas.

The Journey, the main storyline, has some additions too. You can take Koromaru for walks at night and some of the other Social Links have been changed from Persona 3.

If you missed playing Persona 3 FES when it came out for PlayStation 2 in 2008 you can get it as a PlayStation 3 download next week. The PS Blogcast announced the PSN re-release, which should cost $9.99 like other downloadable PS2 games.

Damn. Just bought a physical copy during christmas for 15 bucks. Along with Nocturne, DDS1 and 2.

It's a must buy JRPG btw, P4 might be the more popular of the two and have more refined gameplay mechanics but P3 will always be my preferred choice and the one I look back upon most fondly.

I guess its US PSN only ?
At least I got FES and 4 for my PS2 here, so its fine for me ...

Maybe I should switch to US account only in the future and charge it with psn cards

I have FES on PS2, but can't play it due to my 60GB crapping out.

I then thought about getting P3P on the Vita for $20.


Now I can just play it for $10.

that's excellent news, I love Persona 3. Does the game will have trophy support?

Just after I bought the psp version for my new Vita, oh well, it is my favourite of the series & good to support so I might buy it again. Paying the $10 beats the inconvenience of having to plug up the ps2 again to play it on the big screen.

Wasn't the psp version enhanced and this is just a ps2 port.

It was enhanced in some aspects. Playing as a girl, control of each party member.
However, the PSP version was just talking heads a lot, less cutscenes, and you played as a curser.

Also there was no like 30 hour Extra epilogue called "the answer" in the psp version.
There's other differences I think but thats what I remember.

So the psn version will have more content and is cheaper.
