Really? Valak Mountain's music was the weakest in the game IMO, just ahead of Ether Mine.

My favourite pieces for field music in the game, though, have to be Bionis' Leg, Mechonis Field and Capital, and finally the Fallen Arm and the Sea.

Though, all had great music.

it was not valak mountain >.<

It was such an awesome soundtrack the best one in the game by far. I only know it was late in the game

Haha, i found that UM that Rol was talking about. Pick off the two Kromar flanking it, then have your main character sit back and rake in the affinity. Retreat if either you or the UM is too close to death, then rinse and repeat until his escort respawns.

Are you talking about a battle theme? Mechanical Rhythm?

It comes when get into this certain area, it is like the area theme or something. I know it was awesome the best track in the game, I can´t remember where it was.

Hey now, Valak Mountain's night theme is easily one of the best in the game. Though the day theme is not much better than Satorl Marsh's...

If it's Mechonis Field, then I agree.

Umm...that' really vague lol :P You can't remember what the area was at all? Town or field? Any instruments you rememeber?

it was field and there where guitar and drums.

Damn, that sleep-inducing UM is indeed an affinity machine, so long as the two others in your party are the type to frequently auto-attack (e.g., if Melia or Sharla is involved in the bond, you should control them. Of course, Sharla has the double-whammy problem of auto-attacking from a distance)

How are you actually supposed to beat that guy, though? Any attack will see him put to sleep, unless perhaps you control Sharla, then toss in Riki and Melia for mad damage-over-time).

I've beaten the halfway point on pink bonds, gotten the High Entia Emblem and thus the La Luz Church Heart-to-Heart, isolated the one Heart-to-Heart that i haven't even found yet (somewhere in Colony 6, the Shulk-Sharla pink), and successfully beat one Aora Telethia. Two more days, perhaps three. It'll take me an hour at most to fix all remaining bonds, then a bit of time getting Alcamoth back in shape for the two locked-out H2Hs, then some running around to actually do the conversations, then, endgame.

I vote Mechonis Field. Sounds about right...

Sounds like you're nearly there. 'Bout time, eh? :P

Sleep resistant gems on the last character, tell the other characters to hold back, build up your link attack, Topple and never look back.

I'm pretty sure that's what I did for that enemy, although it's been a while, so I don't know for sure. It works on every boss that's not immune to topple, although the spike-on-topple (...) ones need specialized gems too.
