What is the best 'major' area in the game?

Colony 9 39 12.34%

Bionis' Leg 83 26.27%

The Marsh 20 6.33%

The Forest 17 5.38%

The Sea 24 7.59%

The Mountain 13 4.11%

The Valley 5 1.58%

Fallen Arm 22 6.96%

The Field of Metal 9 2.85%

See results! 73 23.10%

Total:305

The dragon isn't that hard, and since he's pretty much the final enemy before the PONR, I forget about it.

Also, I want your entire next post, if it regards the endgame, in a spoiler tag, Mr. Khan!

And you can trade for Bitter Kiwis? O.o

The unique monster location descriptions are bloody useless.

Very true, but in the quest log it tells you the nearest Landmark/ Location, so you just have to search there.

And why is Bionis' Leg by far the favourite? I mean, it's cool, and real good, but other, later areas are far superior IMO...

Great music, first time you get a full party, an uncomplicated storyline that resolves around getting vengeance by smashing robots...and it's the first wide open area in the game, and thus the first time you get a sense of the true proportion of the game's scope.

Well, i finished Colony 6 Reconstruction. Managed to squeak out another Black Liver Bean and netted the Ancient Sardi Meat out of Colony 9 and elemental stuff from Prison Island. Now i'm looking for that sleep-inducing UM that Rol mentioned so i can get on the fast track to Pink-Hearting (oh Reyn and Melia. Why won't you two get along?)

Soon. Very soon, all will be complete.

Also saw the meteors landing in Eryth Sea. Nice touch.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

But...Fallen Arm has the better views, and also has some pretty great story-stuff, and also has the best battle music in the game...

*sigh*

With regards to the UM thing, it's difficult to find some of them, agreed. But you'll find the vast majority by simply exploring, which is what the game encourages anyway...

I am trying to remember a certain sountrack of this game. I know it was awesome and pretty late in the game and think it was on this snowy mountain.
Can somebody help me?

A certain what. UM? Locale? Quest?

It would be Valak Mountain either way, but what on Valak Mountain?

Yeah, we can't help you if you don't tell us what it is :P

soundtrack
sorry

I think it was called valak mountain.

Really? Valak Mountain's music was the weakest in the game IMO, just ahead of Ether Mine.

My favourite pieces for field music in the game, though, have to be Bionis' Leg, Mechonis Field and Capital, and finally the Fallen Arm and the Sea.

Though, all had great music.
