Yeah I haven't gotten to see the game in action myself yet but I know someone who has, and he pretty much said its arguably the most impressive FPS graphically there is on ANY console.

Considering the screens that are leaking are already on par with any FPS I've ever played and it doesn't even come out until November I'd say were in for a real looker for Halo 4. Like I said 343 wasn't kidding when they said they aim to be the best looking 360 game ever released.

This makes me wonder how many discs the game will be on. I would imagine at the very least 2. I also wonder if they'll keep game modes like Forge and Theater in the game or if those will get the axe.

@yojohn117

From what I'm hearing Forge is for sure still in Halo 4. I'm betting its gonna ship on two discs. One for just the single player campaign and a second one for multiplayer. I don't see how they could possibly fit it on a single disc.

I'm starting to think it may actually be on 3 discs. 1 for the campaign/theater, 1 for multiplayer/theater/forge and 1 for Spartan Ops/theater (unless they plan on having Spartan Ops be DLC only)

While I can't be 100% sure I think the majority of Spartan Ops will come through DLC, so I imagine two discs for the game (One SP and one MP).

Hoping Forge and Theater are definitely still in there.

Will be surprising to know if FXAA can really display these pics on my screen. Looks too sharp to be true.

Long-time Halo composer Marty 'O'Donnell is not working on Halo 4. He'll be working with Bungie on whatever project they're developing. Microsoft instead has turned to Neil Davidge to score the new game's soundtrack.

Davidge's resume includes producer work on DJ group Massive Attack, score composition for movies "Push", "Battle in Seattle", and "Unleashed," and provided additional music on the film "Clash of the Titans."

“As a passionate ‘Halo’ fan, I’m incredibly honored and thrilled to have the opportunity to compose the score for ‘Halo 4,’” said Davidge.  “Music has always been at the heart of what makes ‘Halo’ so captivating and iconic. With ‘Halo 4,’ we want to build upon the franchise’s amazing legacy and create a score that captures the awe and wonder of the ‘Halo’ universe, and reinforces the deeper and more emotionally impactful journey Master Chief will embark on.”

For Halo 4, Davidge hand-picked a group consisting of a 16 person male tenor / bass choir plus 10 female Bulgarian vocalists, a full 50 piece orchestra and additional performers.

“Neil has a deep love and appreciation for the ‘Halo’ universe, and the music he’s composed perfectly captures the heroic spirit and emotional power of Master Chief’s story,” said Sotaro Tojima, audio director for “Halo 4.” “Neil is a remarkably talented composer who has a unique vision for the future of ‘Halo’ music, and I’m confident his work will spark the passion and excitement of a whole new generation of fans.”

Halo 4 is due out this holiday. Be sure to check out or Halo 4 hub page that will update throughout the month with exclusive content.
