I was kidding... don't you read my posts usually?

LOL
I'm assuming you must be playing on my obvious joke post and posting a 100% opposite joke of your own?
If this were true, everyone from Nintendo's R&D division should be fired. Luckily it's just baseless rumours from anonymous individuals claiming to be developers.

I decided the best way to respond to this thread was to agree with it by stating something that was 100% opposite of anything else I've ever said. I mean really... this entire argument is so annoyingly stupid that I feel more stupid visiting the thread. Just a basic understanding of the confirmed tech from IBM and AMD around last years E3 should make anyone realize the Wii U will be a defintely powefful machine that is clearly better than current gen.
I would write this off right now. Their is no way the system will be weaker then PS3 Nintendo said at E3 2005 that Nintendo's next system would be full HD. 1080p capability is a guarantee and 60fps is most likely Nintendo's goal. If that isn't the default capability it will have that ability which means more powerful then PS3!

This isn't any random gaming blog this is GamesIndustry International, it is aimed at people in the industry rather than general gamers, and is not known for hit mongering

If Nintendo or any other developers are willing to come forword to say the article is untrue it will be edited and/or a retraction posted.

Technically is not a story from gamesindustrie itself, but just naming the anonymus sources from there . I would love the full interview rather than just some comments specially with the vita- ps3 combo thing that make it hard to belive its not a scam.

Actually it is a article from there, you won't see a "full interview" because there never was one. The editorial is written by someone who has "been in the game business for 30 years now as a designer (co-designer of the Champions RPG among others), a marketer (for various software companies) and a lecturer" he likely was just talking to some old freinds who happen to be working on Wii U games, and bassed the article on that.
I probably should say I doubt that the Wii U is less powerful than current gen consoles, my money would be arround 2 times by the time it is out.
