Game Informer is up to its usual teasing antics.

The magazine always has an exclusive cover story, and this month won’t be any different. Whatever the game turns out to be, it’s supposedly very impressive from a graphical standpoint.

On Twitter, Game Informer executive editor Andrew Reiner teased:

“The screenshots from our next cover story are gorgeous. My jaw is still on the ground…which is making walking difficult.”

Game Informer will be revealing their May cover issue on Thursday.

It's Halo 4 and we should be seeing some of the first campaign screenshots which should be stunning.

I sure hope so, but I don't expect it.

Halo has never really been a graphical king as far as I know, so hopefully 343 can finally change that.

You're obviously one of the gazillions of 'Halo fans' that never played 1 and 2. 

You've obviously never met me. Halo: CE is the only truly epic Halo release imo and I've said so ever since I joined.

I think he was referring to Halo 1's and Halo 2's graphical status at the time when they released, which were impressive for back then, certainly by console standards.

Anyways, I'm hoping for Halo 4, Crysis 3 or Legend of Zelda WiiU.      

No, he's only saying that I've never played those games, which is false. And while those games looked great for their time I wouldn't say that they were "kings" (but then again, I may still be wrong about that).

Halo CE and Halo 2 were graphical masterpieces back then.

Don't think so. The first games will be ports of PS360. Some of them will look better because of bigger textures but the visual difference will be small. Of course some First-Party-Wii U games could be visually stunning.
