Why is it too hard to just vote for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd favourite and leave it at that? We could have finished this in 1/15th of the posts...oh, wait, sorry. That's the point. Get the points and the 1,000 posts in a thread badge. Kudos. You'll end up with some stupid dev at the end which will have likely release 1 mediocre game because of the voting wars.

That said, if you're happy doing it, so be it. But be aware that the result will be like the thread- nonsensical and quickly forgotten

Exactly, I'm only retaliating what has already been started, I tried to call a truce when two big Sony franchises were out and only Nintendo but they wouldn't cooperate so war has begun :) Gonna be interesting as to whos left though.

But be aware that the result will be like the thread- nonsensical and quickly forgotten We were perfectly happy with Nintendo out (and ND was gone too) but then the Nintendo fans wanted to continue voting all Sony studios out so...The results will not be nonsensical if an actually legendary developer wins (and they will, unless people become enraged or something and start voting Valve down in favor of a relatively unknown one).

(At Gilgamesh also)-True. Valve winning wouldn't be a disaster. Quality dev! But the 'war' which has begun between people here, as you say, has now got out of hand. The Ninty- ND thing was fine, but now...it seems as though it's more 'let's remove X because it's a Nintendo/Sony/MS dev'. The fear is that when there's nothing left, they'll vote down Valve oe as a way to vent their anger. Let's hope that doesn't happen though!
