This is the best news for the PS3 in a long time, the first one is still one of the best games on the PS3. This takes everything from number 1 and multiplies it by 100.

They look more athletic, smarter and tougher. Should be epic an or just alot of fun.

Oh wonderful a sequel to the most stereotypical shooter ever haha. I'm serious when someone told Insomniac to make Resistance 1, they must have simply told them make a stereotypical Sci-Fi FPS, and nothing to differentiate it from the others, but don't worry it'll sell.

Oh well maybe they'll actually put some effort in the 2nd one.

Sony would be stupid to let Insomniac release this game in 08, not after all the times they've hyped up Killzone2. The last thing Sony wants is to make competition among it's own 1st and 2nd party exclusive titles.

not necissarily as long as killzone comes out first... i've been telling people sony has more games coming out this year than people know about.. everyone thinks sony has already revealed all their cards for the year but i dont think they've come close... if they release resistance in 08 imagine what they are cooking up for 09

I honestly don't think KZ2 is anywhere near done, and i think it's going to be a holiday title. We've heard and seen no news as of late, ever since last year's E3 (which was the first time we saw the game running). KZ2 is a game that Sony hypes up alot, therefore i doubt they would keep any information underwraps unless the game isn't in form that would be showable to the press. I think Sony could benefit the most if Killzone was in 08 and RROM was in 09... it's not like Sony doesn't have enough exclusive games in 2008. If they could have FF13, RROM, GT5 and GOW3 in 2009, they'd be set for that year.

Anyway, GOOD start of the year for PS3.

Resistance was launch title, was rushed, had no streaming textures, BUT now with R2 they definetely will do all what they planned with R1.
