Forums - Gaming - Nintendo needs to release Wii U soon.

It's true, you new guys don't realize it but these forums are dull compared to what they were in 2007-2008 when everyone was religious that their system would prevail and be the best in the market.

Now it's pretty much all said and done. If and when the PS3 ever catches the 360 WW there'll be a huge cheer from that base but otherwise, there's nothing to argue about anymore - except about how impressive / unimpressive the Wii U will be.

It'll be much more fun when Sony, MS and Nintendo launch their next-gen systems (I still count Wii U as this gen).

@OP - A don't think Wii U will save us from boring threads.  I think it'll be fairly unimpressive, get 90% the same games as PS360 and really not be interesting to talk about except for how good/bad its sales are.

We need MS/Sony to announce new systems and I think that's still a year away.   Maybe longer now that WiiU won't date PS360.

The DS destroyed the PSP, destroyed.

FALSE!

Piracy actually destroyed it.

Also..1.6 mil is nothing? o.O

On the contrary, piracy aided it. Without piracy, the thing sold at most 40Mil.

Anyhoo. 1.6 mil is not tracking very well, the number isn't good use Kowen's thread instead you'll see the trend isn't amazing.

And as I said in my post anyways, it's too early to use the Vita as a measure of success. I was replying to him keep in mind

Yep, Piracy did add abit to it though the revisions screwed up people who were hoping to take advantage of it ;p

Yes its too early to use Vita as a measure of success but its also too early to use it as a measure of failure like majority of people are doing now.

(But saying the PSP was destroyed was a bit too much imo ;x)

I think I overcompensated a little there.

But you know, credit where credit due. If PS2 destroyed the competition, it's only fair to say the same for DS you'd have to agree.
