Valkyria Chronicles is not an RPG. It's got RPG elements but it's nothing like what you think it is. Basically, you pick some soldiers with different attributes and personalities. You arm them up and send them into battle. While in battle, you take turns controlling each of them, TPS style. You can only move a certain distance per turn and that's it.

When you're done, it's the enemy's turn. While they're moving, your guys will still open fire on them and maybe even kill them. It's a little deeper than what I described but you'll be surprised how much you end up liking the characters and some of the situations they get into.

Nah R&C are not my sort of games. Got Heavy Rain today practically free. Naked shower dude and looks like I am tossing the controller whenever I have to do maneuvers lol.

If you don´t have Warhawk or Twisted Metal you definetly should give them a try.

Isn't TM a broken mess? I haven't played those series since PS1. Warhawk has been recommended a few times now though, by few irl friends and on the interwebz.

Yeah the online features are sometimes not accessible but the local MP and Singleplayer are pretty cool. And I could recommend you to pick Gran Turismo 5 up. It´s a game that every owner should have.

Fuck. Heavy Rain is good. Just passed the third and fourth trial.. Off to blue lagoon(doctor scene = epic). Third trial.. euuuugh lol
