Here we go again folks!!! Rumour time and of course it's another "reliable source" so you know to bring that salt with you but hey, could be true eh?

"The name’s interesting as it’s been pointed out that ‘Orbis Vita’, or Orbis Vitae in proper Latin apparently means ‘circle of life’. If the info is correct it suggests PS4 and PS Vita could be tightly linked in the future. Sony’s UK MD and VP Fergal Gara has spoken before about the PS Vita’s ten year life span, clearly indicating it’ll be around to transition from PS3 to 4. Michel Denny on the other hand has also talked about “a PlayStation ecosystem: a high-end home console and a high-end portable console that really talk to each other”."

So...do you believe it?

Console names point to an advantage or feature. What can I do with an Orbis?

From what I've been hearing Orbis is indeed the codename, it seems pretty reliable.

What I'm more interested in is that it is using the AMD Southern Islands GPU and it will display in 4096x2160 resolution and is easily capable of running 3D in true 1080p.

Should be a beastly rig, also apparently its using AMD x64 CPU and is launching 2013.

Also its being leaked out on the web a bit, I believe Kotaku may be running a story on it now from what I heard certain people saying, either way the development kits have been in the hands of developers for a while now and I've heard some things, so far good things in terms of hardware.

and damn man..about friggin time..I was getting bored with almost no rumors about the next PS home console with WiiU having plenty and xbox having some. Exciting times

but can you or someone else ..break the specs down and explain them in a noob friendly way?
