Forums - General - Here's to you Bleach Anime!

The final episode of my all time favorite animated series just aired, and im a bit teary eyed right now.  :(

Been following the Anime for 6 years now and i know the Manga is still doing weekly chapters but DAMNIT!

HERES TO YOU BLEACH!!!

I need a good drink. :(

...uhh...ill just put my favorite quote of all time here.

"Welcome to Pain, the second of three...You have dealt the first...now deal with me!!"

Its not over, they're just taking a break.

btw, sega4life, I'll change my sig don't worry :)

They'll be back. And i'll be waiting, because this arc seems to be shaping up well (fingers crossed that Kubo doesn't go "Deathly Hallows" on us and start zapping characters with actual development left and right)

Go Hallibel, break free and kick all their asses!

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

The quality of series has been in so big downward spiral since end of the first arc that I say good riddance. By far the worst of big three (One Piece >>>>> Naruto >> Bleach). Not to mention that Japanese viewers tend to agree me with me if you look at the TV ratings and manga sales of the series. Both have been dropping steadily for years.

Naruto's been tanking pretty quick lately in quality, mostly as the plot tumor that is the Uchiha clan grows unchecked. While Fullbringer arc felt in so many ways like an unfinished, unnecessary arc, the most recent Bleach chapter has me excited while the most recent Naruto chapter has me facepalming (Snake Sage mode, really?)

I'll agree with you on One Piece. However.

Well I agree that Naruto has its fair share of bad episodes and arcs (petty much all filler arcs but couple of story arcs have been lackluster too) but still it manages sometimes to surprise me like those couple flashback episodes of birth of Naruto not too long ago. Damn they were legitimately great episodes. Since saving Rukia Bleach somewhat losed its draw. Arrrancar arc had potential but somewhat even it was rather boring with ridiculous characters (especially their art. I laughed couple of times for their released forms and not in a good way). Then we have this fullbringer arc that really feels like filler. Also the invincibility of good characters annoys me. Only villains die. The end of Aisen battle would have been perfect place to stop but I guess Kubo likes money too much.

Good, after the horrible drop in quality over the past years they need to be put out it's misery.

Former something....

ONE PIECE

"Life is but a gentle death. Fate is but a sickness that results in extinction and in the midst of all the uncertainty, lies resolve."

I felt that it wasn't till the Hueco Mundo arc that the quality dropped.

It was strecthed too long, Kudo said himself he made it longer cause of the immense fan <3 response in Japan.

Fake Karakura Town arc was great to me, minus Gin's unclear and short flaskbacks.

The Lost Substitute Shinigami arc......was a mess I don't need to go into.

So far this final arc has some really good signs, but I agree with Khan and hope it doesn't become a "Let's kill everyone" mode unless it advances the plot.

Still my fav of the BIG 3.  Not to say I don't like OP, cause I read it every week and it does have it's amazing momments (and the humor is always top notch), it's just I don't see me wanting to re-read it again hence why it's the only 1 of the big 3 I don't buy the translated manga.

I abandoned One Piece after less than 60 ( i think) episodes. I like good looking anime manga girls...hmmm.
