Didn't care much for RE4 or RE5 so I am sure I won't care for this one either.

I believe the last RE I truly enjoyed was RE3.

They didn't say that. They said they need to make it as successful as COD and that means taking the franchise more towards action.

It doesn't necessarily mean the game will be adding killstreaks and perks or the campaign will be a clone of MW3.

I think they are just tired of the sales. Capcom wants some big numbers. Call of Duty gets those big numbers. I am sure that a lot of Developers are very envious of that franchise.

Capcom is pissing their real fanbase off and won't get any new people for their Resident Evil Franchise.

Look at my games collection. Not only do I play Call of Duty(and daily) but I play every genre there is. I play Resident Evil, I play Final Fantasy and I play Uncharted and God of War. I play everything. Call of Duty is the most addicting and the most fun. This is why people "buy the same game every year".

No, Battlefield isn't "better in every way". Its a PC game ported to a console.(It's obvious from the menus). Call of Duty games are made specifically for consoles and consumers notice. It's why the almost 2 year old Black Ops is played more than the new BF3 on Xbox Live.

well they might want to start by getting a dev. that can actually make a creditable shooter like Insomniac, Epic, Platinum games, Crytec just to name a few.

Maybe Robert Bowling got an offer from Capcom. Don't really care about that much about this franchise. Also rule to buy any capcom product is wait for the super awesome super greatest edition version a few months after the original one.

just Capcom being greedy, WHY must RE do COD numbers?? WHats the point?? RE will never get that popular, actual FPSs dont touch COD numbers.
