Microsoft has announced a new offer for those signing up to Xbox Live for the first time, giving new users free games when they sign up.

Those who sign up for the first time for a minimum of six months at £26.99 will get Halo Reach, Fable III, Kinect Sports, The Gunstringer and Toy Soldiers for free.

When accounted for separately on Games on Demand and Xbox Live Arcade, it comes to a total price of £125.

The codes to download the free games will be sent out within the next four-to-six weeks. The offer, which isn’t open to existing Live subs, will end next Tuesday.

Thanks, Gamerzines.

Holy crap!

This could be interesting! Is this offer available worldwide?

Great Deal. Good promo for the upcoming games in those franchises.

Something similar to PS+ , so I wonder.......

Will you be able to play those games after the end of the subscription ??

of course.

And you know that, because............????

It is a shame that those that are supporting XBL since the beginning dont get any gift.

I wish they would do this type of thing for the already loyal XBL users :/

Because it says so right in the OP >_>

They can give you something free, but that doesnt mean that you will be able to use it FOREVER.   PS+ gives you lots of free games, but if your subscription ends, you will no longer able to play them.
