hopefully Nintendo does like Sony and limits what can be taken advantage of early because this doesn't sound to promising

but if they do make Wii U exactly the same as a PS3 then it will probably launch at $250 like the Wii did(but it will be at a small loss)

If it launches at the same spec as PS3 expect no loss and only profit. Even if it launches with 3-4 times the power of PS3 expect profit.

why would you expect no loss?

most likely the Wii U will be more powerful than ps3 so i see the Wii costing like $350 to make if it is and if they sell it at a profit then the Wii U will cost $400

i think the Wii U is going to atleast cost like $100 more to make than ps3 so i see it being

but you might end up being right though

There is a huge debate (and rightfully so) between people who think selling more = winning.

That is what the defintion of "winning" the generation has been. And it has been universally accepted until this generation when the one who won by that metric was not expected by anyone and was not wanted to win by those who felt had ownership of the industry (the gaming "media" and the "core" gamers).  So other metrics have been adopted to try to create the result that everyone anticipated and wanted for this generation.

These are businesses. To them it is about profit and sales. And there Nintendo has won this generation.

Super Nes is the exception as it was more powerful than the megadrive.
