That was taken with the Freespace 2 Open Source Project which adds tons of graphical enhacements (plus allows you to use some amazing mods, like the Babylon Project, my personal favourite). FS2 is basically the best space simulator I ever played and one of the few games I constantly install on any new PC I get.

Well I am pretty sure the seccond is an eye of the beholder game but I am not sure which

It is indeed an EotB game, though it was the only to release in 1991 for the Amiga (that should be a good hint )

Correct.

I loved the game, though it was a bit generic. Having to use the weapons on the map in order to progress was a good throwback to adventure games.
