I heard on the news that there is a pattern to the murders; every four days. The next day is Friday. Sincerely hope they get him before then.

Horrible. This is why I still think capital punishment should exist everywhere and it should be quick, not drawn out for months/years like the US.

I think either a slow painful death or a life time in some horrible turkish prison. Death just seems to easy of a way out for some criminals. Make the time for smaller crimes less so that we can put tax money into making the real evil criminals actually pay. |
Two wrongs don't make a right.
Thus, torturing them is not humane or proper, neither is it fair for society to provide them with permanent shelter and food for ever. This is why a quick, humane death is the best solution for people who simply cannot be allowed to breed and be part of society.

If anything ever happened to my kids, I would ask the judge to leave him/her/them in the darkest hole of prison for the rest of their lives. In no way would watching them die in an electric chair or noose or lethal injection make up for what they did. I will admit that a slow painful death may be a bit barbaric, but I have to to stay with life in prison. We waste so much money on so many other things in America. I am sure that we could let some of the tax invaders or J walkers or even shoplifters go after a while. Money just flies everywhere! They need to have different types of prisons. Blagovich went to some cushy resort prison in Colorado. The soldier who murdered in cold blood the Afghanistan families is in Leavenworth. Now find a prison a bar worse than Leavenworth and send the most evilest of scum there to rott. If these turn out to be terrorist then a quick death probably would be good because it shows the rest that the world is going to find you and will slowly make you suffer like you have made us. |
I don't consider the death penalty murder and therefore a 'wrong'.
I do consider it wrong for society to be forced to clothe, feed, water, clean up after, shelter, and protect murders. Its reverse punishment on the rest of us who respect life and other person's well-being.
Therefore there are cases where a person should be once and for all removed from society in as humane a way as possible... i.e. lethal injection.
I am tagging this because I am interested. Will comment later on though.
Damn I was just in Toulouse a few months ago, definitely diverse but seemed very calm and harmless.
Hopefully it doesn't get any worse from here.
Guess the Muslims in AQ are starting where the Neo-Nazis left off...
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
