If anything ever happened to my kids, I would ask the judge to leave him/her/them in the darkest hole of prison for the rest of their lives. In no way would watching them die in an electric chair or noose or lethal injection make up for what they did. I will admit that a slow painful death may be a bit barbaric, but I have to to stay with life in prison. We waste so much money on so many other things in America. I am sure that we could let some of the tax invaders or J walkers or even shoplifters go after a while. Money just flies everywhere! They need to have different types of prisons. Blagovich went to some cushy resort prison in Colorado. The soldier who murdered in cold blood the Afghanistan families is in Leavenworth. Now find a prison a bar worse than Leavenworth and send the most evilest of scum there to rott. If these turn out to be terrorist then a quick death probably would be good because it shows the rest that the world is going to find you and will slowly make you suffer like you have made us. |
I don't consider the death penalty murder and therefore a 'wrong'.
I do consider it wrong for society to be forced to clothe, feed, water, clean up after, shelter, and protect murders. Its reverse punishment on the rest of us who respect life and other person's well-being.
Therefore there are cases where a person should be once and for all removed from society in as humane a way as possible... i.e. lethal injection.
