Game is fun otherwise.
It took me 2 hours to get it running smoothly but since then no problem.
My original issue was the stupid Nvidia Optimus drivers which were causing D3 to run on my Integrated Intel HD graphics and not using my Quadro 1000M. Once I downloaded the latest Quadro drivers things fixed themselves though. ( I'm running 35-40 fps on a laptop on roughly medium settings, before that I was at 12 fps....)

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

Another crash. Forums are saying that WOW servers are down too.

 WII Code: 1732 3363 1704 6441

My party was disconnected and at the character screen I didn't have some of the gear I had equipped 20 minutes prior and I get Error 3003 when I try to log in to check. I hope I didn't lose anything

crap

I was expecting a lot of disconnects, but so far I have been disconnected only after 5-10 minutes alt+tabbed. plenty of lag though... which is rather ridiculous in a (former) singleplayer game.

I'm playing as a wizard, using mostly AoE skills. when needed I switch to the ice beam, but I usually use the arcane orb as the secondary (the other arcane thing takes ages to hit the ground)

the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!

jeezz everyone needs to relax. get outside or play another game. lets be honest ofcourse there are going to be overloaded servers in the first 2 or 3 days. its simply not feasible to have enough resources just for those few days because traffic will never be that high again. if i was in management i would probably make the same desicion. just be patient. and all of steam has always connected aswell its to stop people stealing there game. some thing every human doesnt like.

if I wanted to wait to play a game, I would have waited for it to have gone on sale, and then gotten it. I really don't mind always online dmr since I am playing this game almost exclusively with friends, but if you have it, you better make damn sure that you will be able to handle the load of all your paying customers. Its absolutely ridiculous that the servers have been down multiple times on just day 1, and that while they're down, the game is completely useless. Surely blizzard must have been informed that the game was shattering PC preorder records. And yes the load will be highest at launch. Thats why they could have gotten enough servers to deal with the inital traffic, and then toned it down as the active userbase shrunk. I'm sure it would have been less expensive, then the loss in potential sales, due to this game getting horrible word of mouth and user reviews.

Luckily I was thinking about taking a break shortly prior to the servers crashing, again... But if this mess continues tomorrow, I'm going to attempt to return the game, because it actually is unplayable, not super glitchy "unplayable", but actually unable to be played.

I haven't tried logging in tonight but i hope i can as i enjoy the game. The amazon review so far are pretty crazy. Seems enough people have been affected to keep the score low.

Some game impressions now that I'm past the point where the beta ends. In short: I love it!!!

It has that great Diablo feel that I love and I personally don't think the graphics make it look "cartoony" at all. I think the atmosphere is very well done and I'm also liking how the enemies fight (like the savage beast ramming into you). The environments are very detailed and there's tons of nice touches like corpses having green fumes if you use poison to kill your enemies.

They've beefed up unique monsters since the beta and the fight against Leoric was tons of fun and while not being very hard you did need some strategy to beat him.

Spoilers my good man, spoilers

I agree that fight wasn't hard thought it required a bit more strategy, especially if you used a magic oriented character, such as the Witch Doctor. Thankfully he summons a lod of skeletons that I used to boost my Firebats damage to insane levels XD.
