What's the best rune you've got? So far I managed to fuse a Ral, but I've been getting Thal's dropped.

I've got Tal, Eth, Eld, El and Ith for now. Mind you, I didn't find a single rune in Act I, all of them come from Act II and five minutes of Act III. I suppose Tal is the best I have for now, this one is fused, as are a couple others in my stash.

Man, I meant to say Tal not Thal. Got a couple of Tals on my stash, just need an extra one to make my second Ral. I got a load of Eth, Eld and El runes from the Countess on Act I, she usually always drops one with a high-ish MF.

You guys need to stop talking about Diablo 2... You are going to make me want to play it again even though I need to focus on other games...    I suppose I could just start a tiny character..  Anyone play on US East?  Installing on new cpmputer now... Why why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????

I actually gave my bnet account to an old friend. I suppose it doesn't matter unless he tries to log onto D2 at the same time? I could just ask for it back but I am not sure if he still plays on my old WoW account. Perhaps I could get the WoW account to be transferred off while keeping my bnet account with all my old Blizzard games... Or I could just say fuck it and let him have the account while just installing the old games the old fashion way.

P.S.  It is so fun swapping the 3 D2 disc out for a full install.   Also, I'm going to install Diablo 1 and run walk around the awesome world.

I'm playing SP on the realms only, mostly because with the PlugY mod, I have access to every "Ladder" only events, items, runewords, etc. 

@mummelman - Man, I think you're just unlucky. Duriel 2nd time dropped 1 rare, 1 unique (trident) and 1 Tal rune for me.

I got Griswold's Edge from Duriel, but Hailstrone Wrap is quite a find!. Full Plate Mail correct? 

I'm playing on US East, I've started a Summon Necro, I'm at level 14 right now with an army of 4 skeletons, 3 mages and a golem.

edit - I was getting a little annoyed playing then I realized I can't play Diablo without sound.  Without sound the game just seems tedious (all the clicking).  Once I turned the sound on I was like ahhhh...  Also, I started finding some pretty bad ass starter items.  Found a very nice low lvl gold unique sorceress globe..
