I'd guess the fact that most computer places buy from Foxconn is what keeps them off the list. But MS buys from them too... though they are also suing Foxconn... which may balance that out

Aren't those the people who threaten to commit suicide cause MS is paying so low?

When I see the word Foxconn I just think of this thread where they put a picture of the nets.  Eventually someone Photoshopped Mario jumping in between the gap.  Unfortunately, the link to the pic no longer works...

Well, MS said it was because of "staffing assignments and transfer policies", but they seemed to take care of that pretty quickly. Compared to other Foxconn locations where Sony and Apple actually had some suicides. 

Edit: It should also be known that MS wasn't in charge of the employee's pay.

I am not taking anything away from MS but I just don't see how you can expect gaming companies to compete with the likes of Adobe, Microsft etc, in software.

All the companies listed in the software (and technology) group create software and hardware for serious productive purposes.

Good question. Nothing really.

But I am still surprised you think that gaming companies would be in there. I find these surveys to be very "business systems" oriented when it comes to technology.

But I concede to your point.

What are some of the unethical things that MS has done in the last 2 years? I looked up some stuff and Ninty buys conflict materials from Africa to save some money as well as use Foxconn to make their devices

Not releasing pokemon BW2 on 3DS, how could they? Those unethical people, crushed the dreams of many a 3DS owners alike.

If thats not unethical, I don't know what is.

I definitely didn't know that. Do you have a source? Other than some peculiar pricing sometimes, Nintendo's track record is squeaky clean from my point of view.

As for Microsoft, I can't really think of anything specifically in the last two years, but they've been taken to court many times over Windows and some of their business practices.

By "ethical", are they only referring to their workers and materials, and if they use cheap labour?
