Just think about how boring it would have been for him to have intellectual conversation for 80 miles.

There is actually a good point in this comment somewhere.

I find that couples who have long-lasting relationships (i.e. married) tend to have a similar level of education and intellectual ability/interests. Maybe that's why I don't believe this, there would be such a gulf between these two that I can't see how their relationship would be sustainable if this was real.

If that's true, that is truly pathetic. However, its equally pathetic that he's filming his wife like that.. mocking and making fun of her all on the internet. That's a doomed marriage. In private is one thing, but not public.

Hmmm...I would say the logic is off simply by referring to marriage as a qualifier of a "long lasting relationship".

Other than that, there is a somewhat natural affinity for men and women to want to "take care of" seemingly weaker individuals. In many cultures, being dumb is seen as weak-in-a-cute-sort-of-way. The Japanese call it Kawaiso...and many people have maternal paternal instincts that make them want to care for and protect the weaker one.

She thinks the speed is affected by the vehicle's weight? She thinks the transmission affects it? And, she can't solve this "puzzle"? This has to be fake. I sure hope so.

PS: She is actually somewhat correct about the tyre part, different size tires changes the ratio between actual speed at the wheels and speed shown on the speedometer since most cars measure speed from wheel travel and resistance. This problem is nonexistant in cars with the speedometers fixed to the transmission though, most cars with digital speedometers have the measurement taken directly from the driveworks and are heaps more precise.

I hope it's fake. Who would make fun of their own wife in public like that especially for 5 minutes? Like Dr Grass said.

Seems legit, she has a point there. Why would you use the easy way? You have to take everything into consideration.

I thought you were going to post this story....
