It is. And I already know who's going to win which category and so forth. It would take something of a revelation to change my mind on them. Like I said in the original thread, it's not really about who wins or loses. I just wanted to make what I feel is an honest comparison. A couple of people asked me on Swapnote, my PS3, and my VGChartz wall if I'd make a comparison. Hell, one guy even asked me on Twitter! Can't please everybody. |
Sometimes I think you should have remained a cop and applied to become a negotiator... But then I think that while you could have been excellent with normal people, even if they became kidnappers or robbers, with humourless turds like most terrorists, things could have become even more unpredictable than they normally are with them!
What was wrong with the first thread?
Anyway, tagged. I think that's what the cool kids say...

It has hundreds of hours of battery life. Your rechargeables are busted, bud. Put in the normal AAA battery it came with and you'll not have to recharge it for a year.

The device is bulky and ugly, but after the initial shock wears off, it's actually very comfortable. Problems arise when you consider that it has a short battery life (I've use rechargeable batteries and I've had to recharge it twice already) and that it doesn't work with anything other than a handful of 3DS titles. Try using a feature like Swapnote on your 3DS. You'll have to remove the CPP to use your stylus (an absolute must for writing messages). The trigger (Rz) and the R button that comes with the CPP won't even work. You're better off not even using the device unless you're playing Resident Evil or Metal Gear. With those games, it works like a dream. "

I'd like to believe that but we've been hoodwinked on this one. I think they meant 480 without use and maybe 30 hours in use. The battery that came with the CPP died after I finished the campaign in RE:R and was playing a lot of raid mode. That's when I went and purchased the rechargeable Duracell AAA batteries. The fully charged Duracell died one day last week during a marathon session of MGS 3. 31.5 hours of Resident Evil and 24 hours of Metal Gear is what my 3DS Activity Log says. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=4435991

Really? Super wierd. I've put in at least 25 hours into RE:R and another 10 in Metal Gear and mine is still going strong.
PS: Is your final verdict going to be just whatever wins the most categories or are you going to weight categories? For example, I care more about games and controls than everything else combined... squared.

This, can't wait to read the rest of it. Things seem to be leaning towards the PS Vita for the moment, but the 3DS has more games, and games are the most important aspect, so you never know.
...Or he might end the thread with a cheesy "everyone's a winner...group hug!".
