Sad that you had to witness that, it never feels good. It kinda reminds me of where i used to work where some of the oldest people there were a bit like that - that the new guy is too new to say anything or he/she is trying to stand out, etc.

1.) You can increase the amount of posts per page

2.) Using polls would be bad because most of the gaming threads have rules that prohibit some users from posting. Using the Poll would make this impossible. Besides the gaming threads have been kept to a limit by the mods and you don't have to enter them if you don't want to.

3.) Not true. Your perspective is probably blurred. Would you like to present proof?

4.) So many things wrong with this one. Firstly, using one poll from one thread to describe the entire site is illogical. Secondly, if 80% of the poll participants were Nintendo fans, then where do you get the 90% figure from? Thirdly, Even if that poll was of a similar proportion to the VGC community (which it isn't), why do you identify those Nintendo fans as 'raging Nintenfanboys'. Why can't they just be Nintendo fan? I mean, I open up vgchartz homepage, then open up two threads simultaneously , and all of sudden there can be 6 video ads playing over each other.

I mean I either have to come on vgchartz while keeping my laptop on mute, or go into each thread locate the video ads, and pause them all so I can continue to listen to music.

Well, it's not ridiculous to claim one side's hate as being more than another. I'm not saying I agree with either of you but the notion of one side receiving more hate is possible. I'm sure if you tallied up all the hate threads & posts and somehow judged the intensity of the hate, then I'm sure you would have one side receiving more hate than another.

Though I doubt either of you have really done that. You're probably just going off memory and what you've noticed to quantify and gauge hate. But memory can be very innacurate. If you're a fan of company A and don't really care for company B, then you're naturally going to notice hate for company A more and will more likely ignore hate for company B. It's not necessarily a bad thing, it just something you're brain naturally does.

This goes for both of you. You're more likely to miss a few Vita hate threads and take more notice to the 3DS hate threads. The Vita may have receive more hate. Same for MUGEN (except vice-versa). He could have ignored a lot of 3DS hate and the 3DS may have received more hate, or it could be the same like you claimed.


Now, I'm not saying either of you are right. I'm just saying that it's possible for one console to get more hate. But unless you're going to use some objective means to measure 'hate' then you're pretty much debating about nothing, because memory can be very subjective whether you know it or not.

Regardless, I don't want to have to download anything to visit this site, it was fine only a few months back.

Well I have seen a lot of new accounts recently.
There has been a lot of trolling going on in these forums. Overall the quality of posts has gone down with new users trolling and making alts all the time.

As BenV said, tracking has been off lately as well. The numbers just aren't very trust worthy at all.
