Really, you're saying that you'll resist, but why is it bad? By resisting, you're telling yourself that this is something bad, a temptation that you should not give into. There is no reason why liking this show should be considered bad. You should not have to justify what you like, or apologize for it, to other people. If you like it, great! If not, that's fine too. But at least try it out.

I enjoy other cartoons, and I enjoy this cartoon. I happen to talk about this cartoon because it's my current favourite. Before, it was Avatar: The Last Airbender. Who knows what'll be next. But I don't understand your desire to resist. You have nothing to lose by trying the show.

I'm not against the show or you Brony's. In fact I actually defended you guys in that one thread where everone was attacking you!

The true reason is because I don't want to get addicted to it.

If you do watch it and end up liking it, it's up to you the rate of which you watch the episodes/take part in activities outside of the regular "watching episodes" part of the fanbase- is your personality so addictive that you don't think you'd be able to stop yourself from even doing that? xD

Apparently so. I didn't catch that. Regardless, he should still try it. Just mix it in with other things you enjoy and there's no reason to worry about being obessed forever. I'm sure that most people are obsessed to some degree at first, but I know that in my experience, that can happen with any new thing. It wears off in time. And at the very least, it'll be a good lesson in self control.

I've been waiting for Dash's song ever since I heard the short clip that was posted a while ago. Also, the mane6 are apparently livestreamig right now. I didn't realize.

I'm pretty sure I have an addictive personality. xD I watched Avatar all Summer long in 2010 and I was UBER obsessed with the show... I don't want that to happen again.
