She's really boring, and she doesn't have the capacity to have interesting conflicts with the rest of the characters (I feel this way about FS too). The Last Roundup was more of a Mane 6 being awesome episode than an Applejack one, and that was her best episode.

She's too stable. In the Flim Flam episode, she learned nothing. There's something to be said for characters standing by their principles, but in Applejack's case, a lot of people find her less compelling for it.

Having said that, I prefer AJ to Rarity- I don't know why I dislike her (well, I don't, but she is my least favourite), but I do

As someone that lives in the middle of farmland. That entire "country girl" persona just annoys me. The character just feels more flat than the others. She can never do anything wrong, while the other characters can get a bit crazy at times. 

ah, I think I see now. That said, I still think she's one of the best characters. sure, she doesn't grow much, but that's becuase, like a shark, she's perfect the way she is!

Rainbow Dash is best pony confirmed?

Funny, on all the other ones, I get a lot of "fluttershy" as a close second, not way down there.  

but yes, Rainbow Dash is the best by far!  she's just so damn cool, too bad she's a little shallow and closeminded from time to time.  Makes up for it by being fun,  optimistic, confident, and awesome. 

Twilight Sparkle > Rainbow Dash > Pinkie Pie > Fluttershy > Applejack > Rarity

I don't really dislike any of the mane 6, but this is how I'd place each pony in terms of favorites.
