Gotta vote for Truck. Kasz is awesome and I still remember his debates as far back as 2008. Still, Truck is a really important member of the community and I love his posts.

Also with the faceoffs so far, the chances of a Machina vs. Montana round are getting ever higher. Mwa ha ha.

I remember when you did. I used to come here and read stuff from you and guys like Soleron all the time before joining up. And I sort of mentioned why I don't get into some of the more "opinionated" gaming discussions here and it's pretty much exactly as you put it. It's hard to find them a lot of times, but there are still some great threads for game discussion where I'd still love to read what you have to add.

I don't know if you've kept up with your rounds or noticed my votes but damn I respect you and your knowledge.

Considering he doesn't care for these things, nor has he entered a thread for one of these before this (and probably won't after this) I don't see where you're getting that. Is it so wrong to encourage great members to get more involved by letting them know that their contributions are valued? If you think I'm fishing for votes then I'll have you know I actually asked early on in the competition to be removed from it. I have no emotional stake in this competition. I'm merely using it as a beacon to let great users know they're appreciated and good users know how I think they could improve. But hey, see what you will.

You're good I'll give you that~ I thought I would be first in that illustrious list, maybe not. Anyway I never implied you were fishing for votes or that you cared for the competition. But I think we got to a point where everyone knows that they are valued, for me I consider everyone to be an integral part of the VGC family (defeating the point of the competition, moreso as it ends up being Badgenome, Khuutra in the final), but if you want to use this as a opportunity to serenade certain members you can do that aswell :P

Thanks to the handful of people who voted for me above the guy who's probably going on to win this competition.

I like both of the users in this round very much, but I feel that Kasz is an underappreciated poster and a great political thinker, so I vote for Kasz216.

To know that you're valued and to know how/why you're valued are different things. I'm providing my take on the how/why certain users get praise. Believe it or not, some lurkers have "favourite users" that they follow and don't pay attention to many others. This is a great place to let more people know what types of great users are out there so people in the community can find more people like (or totally opposite to) themselves and go on interacting with them. Even in these late rounds there are many votes saying "I don't know so and so very well, so I vote for the other guy". My posts give these folks an idea of what so and so is known for and they might end up discovering a great new user they may have missed. I know I've started following guys like Salnax, Mr. Khan and FamousRingo more because of this "tournament".  To be frank I'm not all that familiar with you. I recall having a spout with you before (I don't even remember what about) but as far as I can remember we simply haven't interacted much since. If you wish I can follow you into threads of your most recent posts and serenade you on your wall :P.
