Yeah Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy just recently came out on the eShop. I didn't hear anything about physical copies being sold though.

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Game Freak plans to "evolve" Pokemon in 2013

GameFreak's New Year Card

Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream has posted a greetings card sent out by GameFreak. This greetings card doesn't reveal much news but does state that Junichi Masuda has said that during 2013, they intend to further evolve the world of Pokémon. It's currently unclear as to what exactly this means for Pokémon games but we'll bring the announcements as they come.

And proud member of the Mega Mario Movement!

This was posted in the Pokemon in 2013 thread. With most of the poster figuring it is either a remake of the third gen, or a WiiU Colosseum like game for gen V.

Got 3DS not so long time ago with half a dozen of games. Not even nearly impressed with 3D, though I kinda anticipated this. The thing is... I have problems even seeing it. Moving slider all the way up hurts the eyes and instead of 3D I see double vision like a drunk person, moving it only a notch up I barely see the difference compared to 2D picture. I only can see 3D if I concentrate enough focusing my eyes behind the screen a-la when you stare at stereogram pictures.

Not that I disappointed with the product, didn't buy it for 3D. I believe I'm not the only "stereoscopically blind" person around, or probably I'm doing smth wrong?

This is actually pretty common for people having trouble 'seeing' the 3D.

Hold it perfectly perpendicular to your face about 8-16 inches away.  12 inches seems to be the sweet spot.  If you still see double, tilt the angle you are viewing at slightly.  Any shift at an angle can throw off the 3D effect and you'll see double.

If might also be that your eyes are either set very far apart or very close together which could prevent you your eyes from both beeing in the proper line of sight (it's the way the parallax barrier 3D technology works).  Thankfully very few games use the 3D effect as a real gameplay mechanic so if you don't use it, you're not limiting your gaming options.

I don't really have trouble maintaining the sweet spot while I wear contacts.  However, if I have my glasses on I can lose the sweet spot more easily and see double.  I also can't see 3D without corrective lenses.  Even though I can see at that length it comes in as double usually.

Just bought all 3 of those Wii U eshop games that were on sale last night. I just couldn't help myself. Trine 2, Little Inferno, and Chasing Aurora

NightSky on 3DS is a pretty interesting game. Very unique and having fun with it. I got Crashmo, SpeedX 3D and Crimson Shroud on the eshop but I have yet to try them.

Anyone else feel like the Nintendo forum section is stagnant right now? I log on and see very few threads in the Nintendo section that I even care to open or respond to.

I got Trine 2 for like $2 or something crazy on steam...so even the discounted price on Wii U doesn't seem like a bargain.

Yea, but I don't mind throwing the extra money on some of the 3DS games that are also on Steam.  Sure the 3D effect doesn't add a lot to most of the games (besides Zen Pinball and a few others) but I would rather have games like VVVVVV, Mutant Mudds, and NightSky on my 3DS for portable use than on my PC.  So I'm willing to skip steam on some games that I deem more fun to have on a portable system than on a computer.  World of Goo is better on the PC (user made levels/mods, cheaper price, etc).  However, I didn't mind throwing down 15 dollars for it on WiiWare and playing it on my TV with the Wiimote.  Sure you could set up your PC probably to do all of that but I don't care to spend the time to set up my PC with the Wiimote/TV (nor do I care).
