What would you give for Nintendo to be #1 again this gen?

500 dollars 1,316 72.35%

Kidney 2 0.11%

Soul 9 0.49%

virginity 16 0.88%

Your favorite puppy 6 0.33%

Your 1,000 dollar copy of Xenoblades 8 0.44%

An hour of your time 26 1.43%

Other ( post below) 6 0.33%

....Left testicle.... 13 0.71%

Pezus's freedom 22 1.21%

Total:1,424

Why are you surprised to learn that Nintendo will charge the same for digital copies than retail copies? They already said that they will do it this way. No surprise here.

Also remember that retail stores will sell codes to download the games, and they can price it lower if they want.

Thanks,

I tried using some advice regarding using player controlled Melia but to no avail. I ran up to an enemy 1 level below me turned around and both my teammates were already dead, followed very swiftly by Melia. The whole process took less than 30 seconds. LOL

Out of curiousity, what enemy was this? And what equipment do you have on your characters?

Sorry for the late reply. I just saw this today. LOL.

It was one of those Giant Walker types in the Sword Valley area . Level 57. He has a name but I don't remember. He appears right after you beat a similar mech at level 54 (part of a side quest). I had my back to him the first time he appeared and got wiped before I could escape. I finally beat him at level 65. LOL

I put on all the best stuff I could find and level 4 gems but he kept wiping the party in less than a minute. Those things are immune to break so I could never topple him.

Kingdom hearts looks awesome!

And am I weird for saying Pokedex 3D is a msut buy?(can't wait to play that trivia game - hope it's hard)

Here is some more for you weary souls.

Japan Expo 2012 : Les premières images d’ambiance

Two new 3DS colors heading to Taiwan/Hong Kong

Taiwan/Hong Kong will be getting the two 3DS colors seen above on September 28th. Note that these are the regular 3DS units and not the 3DS XL. These colors remind me a lot of the most recent Mario and Sonic game, right? Thanks to Alex for the heads up.

Wow two MORE colors? The 3DS has to be up there with the Gameboys now with the most colors.

Ah yes, that guy. He, and an enemy that's just like him that you'll find later, are much tougher than any other monster or even boss that you'll find for quite a while. There are a bunch of strategies you can try to beat, but the main thing to know is that just because he's handing you your head ten seconds into the fight, doesn't mean you're underpowered for that segment of the game.

Those account news are nice!

That was the last barrier for a good online system. Free + unified account + good e-shop. The rest is just details.

What is Tantalus? I will google it.

RUMOR - Is Tantalus working on a Wii U port of an unannounced AAA title?

Coming from a LinkedIn profile...

There's no specific information pointing to what this project is, but it certainly looks like something is up. Most interesting, information points to this project being kicked off just last month. Thanks to Emily Rogers for the heads up!

I've googled them and apparently they make games for handhelds. I don't know what they are working on, but it all points to a WiiU Ware game.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is 'exceptionally hard', says Gearbox

“the game by nature is exceptionally hard. To make [the Xenos] feel as threatening as they are in the franchise, they’ll kill you in two or three hits usually. That’s pretty vicious. You add different things like where they’re coming from, you have more of them, you have them coming at you more relentlessly and their AI is more. If you have co-op buddies some things scale up and down to give you more of a challenge. More people have more targets – it’s hard to have one Xeno in a hallway getting shot at by four characters and that seem fun.” - Gearbox senior producer Brian Burleson

As long as it's tough but fair, I'm all in. I love games that give you a challenge. It's just hard to find that balance between difficult and unfair.

Good news. And I agree, an Alien game needs to be hard but fair, otherwise it makes no sense at all.

So it has been confirmed! That is really great, good job Nintendo for pulling through with this.
