Yes I understand. But the other guys have been doing online right for a while. Nintendo has designers and engineers and whatever else at their disposal. I am sure that they could effectively mimic Microsoft or Sony's online forumula for success. I am sure there is a 360 and a PS3 in the basement of Nintendo Japan headquarters so that they can play it and study it. Find out what makes it as successful as it is. Everyone copies everything, and the controller was just an example. I have faith that if Nintendo actually builds upon what they already have and put their mind to it, they can make a proper online service. like I said, the Wii and 3DS have been good starts!

What makes the online work or not is not in the console. They can't buy a PS3, put the same wireless on a WiiU and voila!, a perfect online experience for WiiU users.
What they need to learn has more to do with tings like, how many servers do I need in X country to give a good online without going bankrupt? What about creating servers for noobs and pros? How do I control the traffic to avoid cheaters? What do I need to protect my own servers and my customers' data from hackers/data thiefs? Etc.
Nintendo can hire people/Co. to either show them how to do some of those things or just to do them, but in the end it requires practice. And only time gives that.
Please excuse my bad English.
