Good luck trying to control a game just using Kinect, this guy is ridiculous.

I doubt you have played many kinect games, if any at all.

I have a Kinect in my house but I admit I have only played that mini game collection. It just doesn't seem possible to be able to control a character or do moves smoothly with Kinect. It seems like they would really have to dumb the game down for it to work.

So you judge the controls by the mediocre rushed launch title? That's like judgeing all wii controls by RedSteel. Try Kinect Sports, Dance Central, DC2, Child of Eden, or rise of nightmares; the game is bad but the controls are good.

Well my cousins have it so I take their word for it, they haven't been impressed by it at all.

Show me game that exactly plays and looks like a Gears of War 3,Uncharted 3,Batman AA,Battlefield 3,Ninja Gaiden and every other title of many different genres.
They promised stuff like that shortly after the Kinect Release - Even PM promised with the MIlo ultra duper revolution only possible with Kinect and Microsoft.

Where is that stuff?
There is Dancing Stuff,Michael Phelps junkie school,Sesamestreet and one game from SEGA where you have to move like a Zombie from Resident Evil 1 cause every faster movement is too much for the awesome hardware of Kinect.

Kinect isn't working as they promised. The only few things that look promising are stuff > PC Developers/random persons" made for PC games just out of fun.
There isn't anything like those AAAAAAA Games on the 360 - But at least they sold Millions of it lol

What kind of crazy pills is that guy taking. At what point does kinect controls not present the same restrictions as a controller? You're still doing what some developer wants you to do. It says like he is speacking in a more selfish way since he is essentially talking down a peripheral that is designed for the ease of the player by providing a uniform set
of inputs in order to cut downon the learning curve

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

I have my friends and sister has it, the kids play it  and we do when we go over, no input = poor.

Kinect is 1.5 years old and it's still nothing but a gimick and poor controls... Molyneux is a moron he has said numerouys moronic things the last 5 years that all have been proven false over time. he is an out of touch developer.

I'm sure certain games can be controlled with Kinect, but my initial post was made with Fable in mind. And as always, Molyneux will make outrageous remarks so his comments should be taken lightly.

The fact that MS can sell so many kinects shows how easily the American market is seduced my Tv marketing. Everyone I know who has played kinect were never impressed by it at all. After playing it extensively with my nephews I know I will never buy one.

Sorry Peter but your games are lousy (always have been, right back to Syndicate) and your opinion about controllers is neither valid, nor relevant to the vast majority of gamers out there. Additionally, Fable: The Journey will not likely be the commercial or critical success of your past Fable releases. I had to say it, I despise Peter Molyneux.

Tactile buttons are a necessity for any game that isn't as shallow as the kitchen sink. At least with current technology anyway.
