snakenobi- are you a rich Indian (you have a computer/internet, after all xD)? How do you feel about all the poor in your country?

compared to most indians...........................yeah

ut really nobody is really rich in india

india's is a very corrupt nation and Moneychanges rule india.

These guys are fake rich people without any vision.

For example Ambani, this guy made a $1 billion house but surroudings of his house is very poor and even slums.

India has alot of problems like multiculturism, socialism, etc.

I feel digusted not about the poor but about our leaders who are such shitholes.I am a very technicle person and understand where the problems.

lower or upper class, all of indians are poor.i do not treat lower class people as different and all of their problems are also my problems.so i am very angry at the problems

My honest and ill-informed opinion: dense, poor with a few very rich areas. Education is strong, and IT sector is growing quickly.

its not education but propaganda that is fed to children in india.

@snakenobi
seriously man...how old are you?and how much have you traveled in your own country.and how much do you know about india's financial growth, its gdp,its economical status and rest?
you sound so ignorant.don't make an impression of your country infront of others when you yourself dont have an idea.
about my perception..
i am an indian.from a middle class family.working in IT.Actually for apple.and i have traveled almost all country.
india is a diverse country in every sense.you will find an example of every possible society and ideology here.
you will find the latest technology as well as most backward possible system in some public organizations.
and that i think is present because of such a huge population.when you have such a huge population its not possible to tackle corruption in each corner, provide eduction to each and every one and distribute wealth equally.
things are improving.but on their own rate.and i can in next 20 years, india will be one of top 7-8 most powerful nations.even at present indian is second most powerful country in asia.and among top 10-15 in world right now.
india has really powerful and influential people.and they are spreading their influence with every passing day.
dreamworks movie studio is now owned by an indian company.indian premier league(like an epl for cricket) has clubs which were sold for same money as the worth of manchester united.
india has some backward areas.but also really famous tourist destinations like goa.north east india is as beautiful as any place in the world.so is kerala.
its just that in presence of some many diverse societies,religions,languages..sometimes difference arises.but its no different then any other developed country.atleast we dont abuse people because of their skin color in public or in matches as it happens in almost all europe

and everyone seem to forget the fact that india gained independence in 1947.everything before that was taken away by british.and we started developing since then only.its been 65 years to independence..isnt it?
india is much better then any developed country as compared to how they were after 65 years of their independence.
does anyone have an idea how u.s.a was after after 65 years of their independence.with so much rasicm, poverty, corruption.
india is much better then that

My perception of modern India is that it's huge, dense, chaotic and poor. India has an interesting history and religion. The people are very nice so something seems to be very good about Indian culture although I haven't quite got a grip on the indian worldview (on one hand indian people seem polite, respectful and well behaved but on the other hand they seem deterministic and not feeling responsibility for their society and kinsmen). My impression of indian immigrants in the Western world is very very good.

Honestly, I'd rather live in 1840s USA than India today

i have lived in 15 states through my life as my paretns moved from city to city cause they were in india's defense operations

i am just 20 years old

i know alot about indian's policy, financial situation, globalization happening in india.

Also as i had alot of experience since young age seeing different cultures around the country and seeing what they face.i started noticing alot of india's problems and also investigating why they are there

you sound so ignorant.don't make an impression of your country infront of others when you yourself dont have an idea.

acutally you sound very ignorant where you just judge the other person when you don't know anything about me

this thread was about others perception not mine,i just replied to people.

about my perception..
i am an indian.from a middle class family.working in IT.Actually for apple.and i have traveled almost all country.india is a diverse country in every sense.you will find an example of every possible society and ideology here.you will find the latest technology as well as most backward possible system in some public organizations.

the latest technology is in very few places.

and that i think is present because of such a huge population.when you have such a huge population its not possible to tackle corruption in each corner, provide eduction to each and every one and distribute wealth equally.

BINGO

your statement above shows how much understanding you have of the problems

huge population has nothing to do with corruption or wealth.you don't seem to know much about economics.

"distribute wealth equally",you talk like a commie

things are improving.but on their own rate.and i can in next 20 years, india will be one of top 7-8 most powerful nations.even at present indian is second most powerful country in asia.and among top 10-15 in world right now.

this

most indians have no idea what they talk about and are arrogant that india is this or that

powerfull by what means?

india's power comes by population.

it goes like this USA man will take $1000 per job,in india we will pay $2 to 500 people and get the job done

india's obsession with bragging is what takes india down.india has so many problem but they don't want to criticize their own country and improve on it but be arrogant about them.

india has really powerful and influential people.and they are spreading their influence with every passing day.

where are they spreading the influence?

up indian people ass

dreamworks movie studio is now owned by an indian company

SO WHAT?

even then most indians stuggle to pay for food

.indian premier league(like an epl for cricket) has clubs which were sold for same money as the worth of manchester united.

no they are not.

people watch ipl for betting,It goes around the country.

india has some backward areas

some?

most of india is backward

sometimes difference arises.but its no different then any other developed country.atleast we dont abuse people because of their skin color in public or in matches as it happens in almost all europe

lmao

india is one of the most racist countries out there

fairness creams are one of india's biggest selling products

it isn't because people are racist but because indians are insecure

and why would you talk about europe here,it is a continent full of caucasians.obviously if people of other skin colour come then people don't understand it.

this happens not just in skin colour variation but language, ethnicity, religion, etc. and around the world

Hey snakeboi, you never answered my post. I was wondering why some Indians smell really bad? I was told it is because the of spices and not bathing/showering. I work with a decent amount of Indians at my manufacturing plant and none of them smell. However, every once in awhile I run into an Indian in public that smells like pure funk shit. What is up with that?

well i only reply if somebody quotes me and asks a question.i don't know, indians are actually very clean people.

never had a smelling problem.it could be a paritcular group.

for exmaple in india, because of the old class systems. Most lower class people won't be able to become higher class in india..But since last 30-40 years, indians from lower class started going abroad for jobs and such.

its not that they smell bad just for being lower class.but they may carry alot of habits they learnt being lower class india.
