Truth be told I'm a little disappointed, I was truly hoping to see some legitimate criticisms for the system but instead it just gets more praise. Sadface.

But seriously, there's already a rather LONG thread about this, two in fact. "post your vita first impressions" thread and the simple "Vita" thread. If I was a mod I'd lock this *Glares at montana Hatchet*

The system interface can be buggy.

The face buttons feel smaller than the PSP causing for some accidental presses. Not to mention that the X and the 2nd stick get into each other's way.

That last bit would be my only complaint so ffar, I do happen to press the right analogue stick in WipEout, but on the whole, it is okay

Oh, snap! You got me!

I'm also impresseD by how smOOthly you can go from the gaME to the OS to reaD the manual or whatever and back again. The whole system is really a thing of beauty.

Is there some hidden troll in this post? There must be!

See it now?

Lol that was brilliant!

So according to list basically nothing is supported. That is pretty much what I thought was going to happen with this. Seems like a big missed opportunity for Sony. They could have seamless HD gaming on the go and at home, but it looks like they don't care about this feature. Forcing developers to make a patch for each game pretty much confirms to me that remote play will not be widespread on a decent number of games for at least a year or so. Glad I decided to wait on the Vita now.

Ah I see, to be honest I didn't actually play any games with it today. I just ran it because I was trying to figure out how to get "reverse remote play"; ie, vita on my tv screen.

Turns out, reverse remote play doesn't exist. I did a lot of research though a few hours ago and found out that hackers have created a way to do reverse remote play, and have hacked the entire remote play catalogue. Supposedly, these hackers have managed to get every single game to work.

The only problem is that these games tend to run with lag input, so I'm thinking that the "dev code to allow remote play" is more than jsut simply accessibility, and more of an excuse to actually never "allow", if you know what I mean.

Ugh, why did Sony even bother with this feature then? Even a laggy remote play of games would still be better than nothing. Maybe it could be something they would fix over time.

I don't want to hate the Vita, but not allowing me to play my PSP games and failing to deliver on what could have been the Vita's best feature is aggrevating.

I'll stick with my original plan of waiting for a limited edition bundle or something before I buy a Vita. If this remote play thing ever gets sorted though I would gladly pick up a Vita right away along with a bunch more PS3 games in order to use it (I mostly play Xbox, but this would probably draw me to PS3 since I am away from home so much).

I am glad to hear that hackers can only do so much with it, because if a hacker could get it to work fine then it would really make Sony look stupid for not doing this right in the first place.

.....Or is it?

In fact

ITS NOT THAT GREAT!!!

Yay!!!
