Forums - Microsoft - New Forza Leaked, Arrives FALL 2012

Fable, Forza, Alan Wake, Halo 4 in one year? Ok MS, if you insist in spoiling me!

Anyways, hope this turns out more like GRID or DIRT, or even a bit open world.

For my real sim driving experience I'll be sticking to Project: Cars, which currently already shatters both Forza and Gran Turismo is my own honest opinion.

Glad to see MS is getting it's Fall line-up in order though.

The difference is that Sony has at least 3 platforms to worry about, MS has one. So for PS3:

3 Uncharted games in 5 years

3 Resistance games in 6 years

4 Ratchet games in 5 years (1 downloadable, 3 retail)

Total: 10 games/5.33 years = 1.88 per year out of these three franchises

Meanwhile for 360:

6 Halo games in 6 years

4 Fable games in 5 years (too many to count apparently)

4 Forza games in 6 years

Total: 14 games/5.66 years = 2.47 per year out of these franchises

And it seems like MS wants to get it closer to 3 per year

You really are stretching here, Fable Pub games was a non entity, 3 mainline Halo's for an entire gen is fine, as with 3 mainline Forza's and 2 mainline Fable's.

There is absoloutely nothing wrong with spin off's ect if it brings something fresh (like Halo Wars and ODST did) and like this Forza looks to do.

The usual suspects ruining threads. -sigh-

so another thread get ruined?

It isn't a real forza ;). I suggest you wait for more info before you start saying things. Probably a racing game made by playground with some help from turn 10. They use the forza brandname to make it more popular. But it won't be a simulator.

Lol people complain when Sony does even worst. Uncharted, God of War, Killzone, Resistance, Infamous, LBP and all that every year since 2006. I rather have those MS Games than Sony ones.

I didn't count Fable Pub games, but anyways I was just answering Kowenicki because he seems to think Sony does the same thing with the same 3 franchises again and again. They are pretty consistent with 1 in each franchise every 2 years, MS seems to be ramping their number up as of late.

Anyway, not trying to ruin this thread so I am out

In terms of mainline games they pretty much are the same.

Sony
2 Year Dev - Uncharted, Resistance, Ratchet
3 Year+ Dev - Gran Turismo, God of War

MS
2 Year Dev - Forza, Fable
3 Year+ Dev - Gears, Halo

Also Sony fans are really stupid, they complain MS has no games and now MS has lots of games like Halo 4, Fable: Journey, Fable: Heroes, RySe, Witcher 2, Alan Wake : American Nightmares, Gears of War: Exile, Forza: Horizon and more to be announced and they complain because its the sames games but when is Sony with their trash games like Infamous wich sucks or Killzone wich is the worst FPS of this gen they go nuts and say "OMFG SONY DOING THE BUSINESS"

LOL

seems to me that if all these new games are coming for 360 there won't be an Xbox3 announcement this year, all there studios will be busy making 360 games, they won't have anything for launch

This is a side Forza game made mainly by Playground, main Forza has a 2 year dev time so Forza 5 is due next holiday, Fable IV is due next holiday, Rare HAVE to have something coming out next holiday (they've been MIA for too long now) and Halo 5 won't launch until a couple of years after the console launches to build a base (exactly same scenario as Halo 3)

If Gears 4 is coming (pretty sure it will be) that'll be 2014 (3 year dev time like the rest)

They don't need to concentrate much on nextbox games this gen, they can tease Fable IV and a Rare game though, and then announce more early 2013.

This isn't a place like Youtube. You better edit your post before it's too late.

You just missed it, Rol.  His bad luck I happen to be keeping up with this thread out of curiosity.

OT:  Well Craig was a bit sad about this before but I'm glad to see that it isn't just a straight new Forza.  If the game is significantly different from the usual I don't think it matters that much that it has the same name.
