S.T.A.G.E. said: Everyone can argue with me but the key point of the original topic was that Microsoft had their best year last year and this year they are expecting it to be even better. Think about it, really, what made their year the best? ' Let me spell that out for you kids so the case can be closed. No one in here has anything to do with it, unless you are buying Kinect bundles. They are expecting casual sales to rise. Onto the next topic.

"2011 was our biggest year -- the biggest year in Xbox history. So we're feeling fantastic. We want to continue to build on that momentum," says Steve Beinner, Microsoft's director of global marketing first party games."
Heres a quote for you from the topic. Lets see if you can comprehend what biggest made the year big and what will become bigger this year. They are talking about sales, not games. If 2011 was a huge year for 360 as far as exclusives are concerned, then so be it. I enjoy my 360 just fine, but it doesn't mean I cant read through press. I'm not attacking you, so your insecure feelings need to stop.
"These strategies include continued support of its Kinect motion controller, which has an install base of 18 million units -- both as the primary controller for exclusive games, and in concert with controller-based games. "
Comprehend and see the bold. The Kinect is selling faster than the 360 did itself. Lets increase that thought now. Its selling consoles as well and peripherals It's already over a quarter of the install base and its been a year and some months.
"First party's role is to really be pioneers," he says -- to "really be a showcase for what the platform's capabilities are."
You are an educated gamer, what are they pioneering in first party? The Kinect can only be that place.
Ignore me if you must, but seriously do not label me for pointing out the obvious.
