Wasn't 2005-2008 a great three years? :)

So you are implying that past exclusives mean nothing? Well in that case Sony might be in a bit of trouble no? What exclusives do they have coming this year? Since apparently ones already out don't mean anything.

Sony has always had a lot of exclusives since the 2006-2008 period, its just that they were new IP's. Sony had very few third party exclusives in if the beginning compared to Microsoft since they started the gen early and their sales warranted devs to create third party exclusives or timed exclusives. Actually if you remember in 2008, I was in favor of the 360 if you remember my track record at VGChartz. Once I got my PS3 in late 2009 period, it brought me back to why I gamed in the first place.

Answers to the top three quotes then I'll go back to my party chat:

1. Quantity was what you were going for, but failed to deliver ever since the first Xbox. Stay in the safe zone where you belong.
2. You've pioneered nothing but online. Online was inevitable for consoles and MS was the only one who could do it properly. In fact it was planned since the genesis days.
3. So basically a poor mans PC experience is what you want to show off, rather than something that shows off the 360? There is no exclusive that does this outside of Forza 4. The only graphical marvels the 360 has are already on PC where they natively show off their power. Come on Microsoft, show that you're a gaming company and not just a typical publisher.

finally your true face.

I read through the thread and you really came up with a lot of nonsense. MS losing money with first party studios? They reported a gigantic profit in a time they opened 3 studios and bought Twisted Pixel.

The 360 library is the most diverse of all three IMO. A lot of core titles from 1st and 3rd party, a lot of casual titles from 1st and 3rd party (some of them for Kinect, some of them with regular controls). Plus the greatest lineup ever on XBLA and Fable Heroes will prove it again, just like Alan Wake, Haunt and Crimson Dragon will.

The funny part is that you were talking about core titles at first, before you switched to "variety". In a year with games like Steel Battalion, The Witcher 2, Halo 4, Fable, Crimson Dragon, Alan Wake, Ryse, Star Wars Kinect, Kinect Rush etc etc all exclusives, your logic makes zero sense for both scenarios. Add all the multiplats like GTA V, Max Payne, CoD, Mass Effect 3, Ghost Recon Future Soldier, Resident Evil, Bioshock Infinite, Borderlands 2, Street Fighter x Tekken, Silent Hill etc. and you have barely time to play all thtese titles.

Why do quite a few PS3 fans fail to understand that the Xbox 360 is just doing fine for the past years. I don't get why people like you (or VG King) are desperately searching for something to prove that the PS3 is superior. Who do you guys want to convince anyway?

LOL My true face. Just say it, did I answer those quotes incorectly? Just say it.

I'm not talking about games available to PC or consoles, but to Microsoft themselves. My logic makes a whole lot of sense. The Xbox 360 experience me fromat its core is a poor mans PC experience at its core. I can admit this, because the 360 has kept from buying a PC, because all their top exclusives keep coming to the 360 or consoles, period. Even Sony is catching onto this method by Microsoft. XSN, Too Human trilogy, Ninja Blade, Project Gotham is gone, Ninety-Nine Nights and much, much more have failed. The top four games....well...top three games now are becoming fatigued.

Microsoft are throwing core gamers a bone at best. The multiplats are coming without a struggle because third party publishers want the highest profit possible. If you are a Kinect owner, the 360 is king because its exclusives are at the helm.

Yes Stage we do get your point. Do you think we are retarded? Because in every thread you keep repeating the same nonsens. It's really starting to irritate me... So can I friendly ask you to stop derailing threads. It"s ok to state your opinion ( even if some people think it's wrong, I don't bother) but not if you keep repeating it wich results in a derailed thread every time. So I would now like to talk about the games coming to 360 this year ( the purpose of this thread). Thank you ;)

Wow, Since you're so much of a Sony Fan, what are you even doing in this thread??.

And i believe it was the PS3 that was trying to be a poor mans PC, you know with the Other OS and that, But that failed big time for them.

And MS Exclusives sell alot more then Sony Exclusives, is the're something about that, that you don't like??.

Sony's Exclusives can't even outsell the 3rd party games on their own console most of the time.

The COD games etc mostly always sells better on the 360.

Sony has been playing catch up to MS all along this gen, and thats fact..

Now to move back on topic.

I can't wait for monday to come :D .

MS exclusives sell a lot more than Sony exclusives? The main halo games do, Gears of war sells a few more, but other than that? Hmm..

Top 10 exclusives this gen. 7 on 360 3 on ps3.

Top 20 exclusives this gen. 11 on 360, 9 on ps3.

Top 30 exclusives this gen. 15 on 360, 15 on ps3.

Top 40 exclusives this gen.  21 on 360, 19 on ps3.

Top 50 exclusives this gen. 26 on 360, 24 on ps3

Clearly both systems have a similar amount of exclusives that sell well. The difference is. The very big exclusives favor the 360. And the 360 has a lot more casual titles that sell 1.5-3mil than the ps3. They both actually have a similar variety of titles, because low and behold, sony milks its big franchises just as much as microsoft does. But if you exclude casual titles like sports champion, kinect titles, littlebigplanet, viva pinata, All 4 One, the ps3 ends up being slightly ahead at the end.

Ok heres another one

Kinect Adventures  :P .

But truth be told, how many exclusive games have sony got that sold 5 million + ???.  Now MS have alot more exclusive 5 Million sellers, with the halo and gears games included. as an exclusive is still that, exclusive.

Anyway most of my post was just trolling Stage back for trying to troll this thread, so i wouldnt read to much into it :D .

I am also a sony fan ya know. but then im a fan of every system.

And i think this thread now needs to get back on topic, atleast before stage comes back and de-rails it again :D .

Kinect adventures >_>

Theres gran turismo 5, uncharted 2, metal gear solid 4.. But god of war 3, uncharted 1, Littlebigplanet and uncharted 3 are likely to pass 5 million.

Unfortunately these threads rarely just go into the main topic.. 1 wrong comment and it goes all over the place :/

Interesting post. Thanks for the heads up.

not really excited. MS doesn't care about the gamers anymore, they think halo and forza is enough
fable has been garbage on 360. lost chapters was good but everything else sucked
forza is good but racing games get boring after a while
halo 1 was amazing, halo 2 was great halo 3-everything else has been terrible.

what xbox needs is
gears of war RPG, something unique full of action, large open worlds, kinda like fallout but in the gears universe

Halo conquest- battlefield style halo game where you are just a soldier this means players can play as grunts finally, use pelicans tanks, covenant drop ships, you name it. this could be the competition to MAG, dust514, and what could be the answer to the need of starwars battlefront 3, but exclusive to xbox.

Kameo 2- i didnt finish the first or really play it much but it was fun while i played it and i know many love the game. it was a launch title irrc... come on now..

chromehounds 2- the original is considered one of the best mech games ever. sega shut down the servers, maybe a sequel would be helpful, not first party but if MS says "hey make this game we will advertise it for u" sega might listen. oh and inb4 ban on fable comment, because i KNOW the mods liked it, but anyone who has played all 3 know that 2 and 3 don't even compare to the original and lost chapters.

There is no real reason to doubt it. They have options... Price cut, marketing, online services, Windows 8 tie ins, console revisions etc.

What people obviously don't understand is that after you have games coming out the wazoo from all sides you need something ELSE to differentiate. If one console has 15 stellar games and another has 18-20 it doesn't make a significant difference, they all get their standard COD, Fifa, Madden, BF3's etc. It is even worse than it sounds because those extra 3-5 titles aren't even the top 5-10 titles, they're games that most people can simply do without because the landmark titles are matched by an equivalent exclusive or beat by multiplaform titles.

The reason why Kinect is good, the reason why their online is good is because it enables a level of differentiation which cannot be matched by simply chucking out even more of the same games. Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports and games like that are still significantly more important than the most amazing Uncharted ever simply because they actually cater to parts of the market which don't have significant competition. Some of the people here are like the McDonald's kid arguing that they'd appreciate the BEST BURGER EVER far more than some starving Ethiopian kid would appreciate a badly made Big Mac.

Tease.
