When is E3 this year BTW? And isn't it going back to the LA convention center?

Kingdom Under Fire: Dominion was just announced for X360/PC.

It's a return to the RTS elements, but incorporating MMO-style persistant warring.

Details include:


Improved action, larger scale.

Thousands players will compete with infinite strategy to dominate the world.

New storyline, new characters and NPC's; shocking ending.

Three camps : Light camp, Dark camp and new party(new species maybe?).

Tens of thousands units fighting at field, as well as at siege warfare.

Trying to come up with ultimate RTS that suits next gen consoles, not only by providing larger scale, but by experience of real war feeling.

The title is due by 2009, and there will be a PC version as well.

Rumor Patrol:

Duke Nuke-Em 3D is now rumored to come to XBLA with 4 player co-op, and revised netcode and multiplayer, like the old schoo D3d.

Wouldn't be a bad idea....Expecially if Duke Nuke'Em Forever does indeed come out.

I have my doubts about gears 2 in o8. why? Well on a 1up podcast near the release of the 1st gears of war cliffy b said that the epic team consisted of 88 people. I assume that they have grown since then but most of 07 they were either porting GoW to the pc or developing ut3. They still have to localize ut3 for europe and assuming they have no other projects the 88 could all begin gears 2 dev leaving about 11 months if they shoot for nov release. Well thats my theory take it or leave it.

 I'll leave it.  Because I really want this game and cannot stand the thought it might be delayed.

They hired some people to do the GoW port to the PS3 so it looks like they probably hire extra people to work on ports for them. I would expect that they'll have something this year.
