It's quite possible, but the main problem would seem that your laptop is actually to weak to run vista. See if you can get a downgrade to XP. |
LOL? My new laptop has Vista Home Premium already on it. I could run Ultimate if I wanted to.
My old laptop, which I gave to my sister, originally had Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 on it, but I later upgraded it to Vista Home Premium, but it seems that PC is too weak for Vista. It was acting REALLY funny when it had XP (started lagging; I think the Toshiba brand laptops decay overtime, because the quality is horrible but the model was supposed to be the best [Qosmio]) and had some problems, even after I restarted it to factory default for my sister (it acted like it had a severe virus ruining the system). Plus, that laptop overheats VERY, VERY badly. It has extremely poor ventilation and makes this awful whining sound when I or my sister turn it on. I plan on buying her a better one when she graduates from high school in 2011. After I installed Vista on my old laptop, it ran fine, but then started screwing up again...and now it only messes up on me when I try to use it, but it doesn't on my sister.
