The "Total" is the first amount of sales it has. Ex. If a game has 908 in "Total" that means it has around 908'000 sales. (This is my basic understanding.)

Pokémon Black and White owners can jump through some hoops to get a free super Pokémon that will "give their opponents nightmares." Sounds scary?

The new Pokémon is called Darkrai, and I have to admit the above picture of it isn't giving me nightmares. Maybe I'd feel differently if I was confronted with one during the heat of battle? The press release says Darkrai is a Mythical Dark Pokémon, which I'm guessing is as scary as things get in Pokéworld. Regardless, you can get your own Darkrai on May 9 if you meet these criteria, as outlined by Nintendo:

Wireless broadband Internet access
A Nintendo DS, Nintendo DSi, Nintendo DSi XL, or Nintendo 3DS system
A copy of the Pokémon Black Version or Pokémon White Version game
No more than 11 Wonder Cards in their possession

On Serebii.net they say it'll be available for every one with the English games, so probably it's for both NA and PAL regions

Pokémon Black & White - Japanese Event

A new Japanese local event was announced today. These events provide four Pokémon, with them being paired to do strategies. From May 7th to May 31st, players can go to the Pokémon Centre and receive Ninetales and Chandelure. Ninetales has its Hidden Ability of Drought and the moves: Heat Wave, SolarBeam, Psyshock & Will-O-Wisp while Chandelure has its ability of Flash Fire and the moves Heat Wave, Shadow Ball, Energy Ball and Psychic. From June 1st to June 22nd, players can receive Whimiscott and Lucario. Whimsicott has its normal ability of Prankster and the moves Swagger, Giga Drain, Beat Up and Helping Hand. Lucario has its hidden ability of Justified and the moves Bullet Punch, Close Combat, Stone Edge and Shadow Claw. The Event Database has been updated with details of this event
