Don't think the Eu reputation will matter much if SONY puts some effort in marketing. The last game was in 11 years ago (not 15...). After that much time and the fact that they treated it as a new IP, even just naming it TM, it could do just fine overtime.

I think it's gonna pull off InFamous 2 like numbers. 2 mil lifetime which is pretty good. It will probably get a sequel if that happens.

Look at past Twisted Metal sales on the chartz, I'm thinking Europe sales won't be nearly as good as U.S. So I'm thinking it will be like Resistance 3 like sales.
That and I can recall seeing a single Twisted Metal commercial or advertisement on television.

Does make me wonder if a baseball game would sell better globally if it was focused on something like the World Baseball Classic rather than MLB.
For those who thinks it will make 1.5 millions and more in sales: have you played the damn game? The online doesn't even works for more than half of the people... Bought it day 1 and I'm already playing an other game coz it's unplayable!!! They must hurry to fix that coz the community his already dying.
Just for fun, go see the official Twisted Metal us playstation forum (which in I participate) . 3/4 of the threads are frustration, hate and despair...

Actually this is Bullcrap!
I was online last night and there were more players online yesterday than any other day. So it's not dying, the online community is growing.
oh... and it works fine online. Are we forgetting that Black Ops has been out for 1.5 years and still has horrible connection issues?
i can't wait!
this is the first TM i have played and the demo was AMAZING! think it could sell 1.5mil lifetime and I'm sure there is already a Vita TM in development

Good for you that the online works for you! But don't crap me about the online issues. I have the game since day 1 and like many others the online is broken for me. Even Jaffe said so...
