Ya I know what you're saying, but it seems as if pokemon is neglecting the 3ds. I'm very confident that pokemon would push A LOT of 3ds sales.

It makes no sense for it to be on DS, if you're talking userbase then you can say that about virtually any 3DS game.

Are Nintendo even aware of the buying rates on DS right now? Given DS hasn't had a lot of games this past year (last big one was Pokemon White & Black funnily enough) I'm assuming a lot of users have put their DS's away. Are they going to get them out again to get a sequel to B&W.

I might add it has the least tempting pokemon title out of the main games in history, if it'd been grey/gray that'd have helped.

They've spent the last 6 months trying very hard to get people to buy 3DS insted of DS and no this :-S

I think this is your first post in one of my threads. Is that an accomplishment?

DS and PS2 are almost stalemate right now, and PS2 has already proven its legs. All we've seen from DS is how fast it's dropping.

A price cut, this Pokemon game and some bundles, might give it that last push it needs.

This title is so interesting. We never had a direct squeal like this before. What will they do? How will it continue the story and what will be the exclusives?

I hate the fact that its on DS and I hate the fact that it wont have streetpass/spotpass

With so many great games to buy/play this year on 3ds (w/o even mentioning the fact that this pokémon game comes out in Fall... around the same time as Wii U wich hopefully will have tons of great games to play) this game needs to have FANTASTIC reviews for me to go back buying an ''inferior'' last gen game. AND not only does it need fantastic reviews but it also have to be able to convince my little brother to buy it (highly unlikely) since we always buy pairs of pokémon games together.

The only DS game i'm planning on buying this year is Golden Sun, only because I was a huge fan of the first 2 games and I havnt got the time to play it yet.

You know what would be awesome, if they let you continue your story as the protagonist from B/W. So in this game, you are already a pokemon master since you have beaten the pokemon league in the previous game and your party of 6 are all level 100 uber legendaries from the previous games. But team plasma strikes again, your entire party is stolen in some kind of crazy event and you are left with no choice but to embark on another journey across Unova with just a starter pokemon to hunt down team plasma and retrieve your pokemon.

You know, I just made up some crap in 2 mins, I'm sure Gamefreak could be more creative than this. None of that same predictable repetitive story on pokemon games, lets actually have a story that is as compelling as the gameplay for once.

lol had a very long and tiring day at uni, I did mean team plasma. Man does it even matter team plasma, galactic, rocket, they are all the same. The only ones I found even a little bit interesting were team aqua/magma. That friggin rayquaza cutscene singlehandedly made emerald one of the most story driven and amazing pokemon games of all times.
