You read that wrong.  What they meant was I buy MLB 12 the show for my ps3 which comes with a Vita version.  I play on my PS3 but eventually I will have to leave to go do something.  Before leaving I transfer my saved data from my PS3 to my VIta so that I can play on the road.  I come back home, transfer the save data from my Vita back to my PS3 and pick up were I left off.

MLB The Show for PS3 does not come with a Vita version, they are both sold seperate.

It seems that only PSN only titles that are available on PS3 and Vita are the ones that grant you the 2 for 1 deal.

isnt 3DS also the best selling console of the last 12 months, or pretty damn close to if not? 15m in its first year anyway, the market is not fading away. Just a case of cheaper stuff sells more than expensive stuff.

the last of its breed? i guess selling 2x as many 3dses didnt mean nothing to these people who still pandor to atari lynx lol and he hasn't bought a handheld since dslite wow ,. get with the times , tell me im trolling ,
i think these analyst troll way more then any one does on this site lol they should be banned from speaking their minds them self, it seams every nintendo device some one is saying itll die it will kill them and now vita comes out , the markets dead ? thats a load of bull right there,

 

and who would be surprised if nintendo 5 yrs from now got up on stage with a nintendo TS  (tripple screens)  lol 

 

 

also i chuckled when i saw the price he said it would fly off the shelves at 

of course they would fly off the shelves at 99 dollars,  in fact if 3ds and vita both sold for 79-99 there would be a tie  because no one would care about 99 bucks , thats chump change   at that rate even the fanboys would just eat it up

The market fading would explain why the 3DS is selling 1.5 times as much as 2nd place, the PS3.

There is a market for stand alone handhelds. In fact there are several markets still open.

1. Kids 4-12 most kids dont have a phone before at least JR High (at least my daughter wont, lol) and most parent will pay pretty much anything for a device that will keep their kids occupied and happy.

2. Gamers- . No gamer would choose an Iphone game to fill his gaming needs, ya maybe to kill time here and there at work, or on short trips. I see this a the people who like games, but as a hobby and nothing more.

3. Core gamers- Of course they will buy. Their souls require them to.

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
