I would think the time to drop it is November/December this year.. Realistically, there won't be one till next year.

i dont expect a price cut till at least oct, most likely mid-oct. or sony could do a price cut a week before black friday for the biggest amount in sales and try too win holiday 2012.

if they paln to win this yr., then it's manditory, but Kaz is about profit, so advertising and marketing is the only thing you can count on from Sony this yr.

pricedrop is feasible in 2013, but i wouldn't count on that either. besides, they reduced the price to $249 just last yr. $249 is a great price.
