I have yet to buy the vita, but when I do (in about a few weeks(need my tax return money :D)) it will be a wi-fi only.

In Amazong top sellers the WiFi only is in the 4th place and the 3G/WiFi is in the 11th place.

I had to pick Wi-Fi, it was the only option available at Canadian stores.

If you already have a smart phone you can just create a hotspot and hook up that way. Much cheaper.

I planned on going with the Wi-Fi but none were in stock. I got the 3G BUT it came with an 8GB card. Plus, I had a friend use their 10% Wal-Mart discount. I'm tempted to sign up for the 3G just to see what it's like. I'll wait, though.

The Vita is really starting to grow on me, it looks brilliant.

Anyway, I was going to go with the 3G version for future-proofing, but I don't think the price difference is worth it, so Wi-fi version for me.
