This game was on my tentative list of games to buy when I get a PSP somewhere in the far future, but Yahtzee has pretty much managed to convince me it sucks. Still considering, but it sounds like a not very good rewarming of the leftovers of a great meal. =/
Now I know why I think he is full of shit. He loves SH 2. For me that was the worst game in the series. The plot is interesting, but I can not sympathize with the protagonist. Gameplay is broken. I like SH 4 plot much more. SH is the best IMO.
Another issue is that I can not respect someone who puts story telling above gameplay. I have played a lot of shitty games with decent plots and that affects my overall experience. On the other hand, I do not even care about a game plot when the game play is great. This is like graphics X gameplay discussion, if you can not have both chose gameplay.

He makes you feel about almost every game he reviews ... still I like its style :P
BTW : SH:O is not even far as a bad game as he says ... and the 7.8 overall on metacritics prooves it ;)

Blah, Silent Hill 2 was my favorite of the series. It's been going down hill ever since. To me, SH3 wasn't as good, and SH4 wasn't as good as 3. But I still am holding on for the series to get back to the old SH2 glory days. I got SH:O and hope it's good. I haven't been able to get to it yet though.
