Now I know why I think he is full of shit. He loves SH 2. For me that was the worst game in the series. The plot is interesting, but I can not sympathize with the protagonist. Gameplay is broken. I like SH 4 plot much more. SH is the best IMO.
Another issue is that I can not respect someone who puts story telling above gameplay. I have played a lot of shitty games with decent plots and that affects my overall experience. On the other hand, I do not even care about a game plot when the game play is great. This is like graphics X gameplay discussion, if you can not have both chose gameplay.
