Poor logic considering a lot of money we spend has no resale value. Going to the movies or a decent restaurant generally cost like $20 - 30.

The next Alan Wake is only $15 and will provide hours of entertainment. I say its worth the price of admission.

I can't create an own topic, so i'll try it this way
I just need the totel sales volume seperated for the three consoles Nintendo Wii, Xbox360 and PS3 in Germany 2011. Until four weeks it was possible to check it on the site, but now i can't find it anymore. It would be friendly, if someone could write me a message with the information or where i can find it now.

Slimebeast keep in mind that they are only making a game for XBLA as a stop gap. The rumours are that they are looking to develop Alan Wake 2 for next gen. I imagine they just wanted to use the engine and do something else this generation. While I'm sure they are disappointed that Alan Wake didn't become a mega blockbuster, the fact they are making an XBLA title isn't indicative of the game being a failure. The burnout franchise had one of it's best selling entries and then the next title was an XBLA one.

I realize I am making a too big of a deal out of it and it isn't the end of the world but I just got so disappointed with the reviews and sales of Alan Wake (I think it's an excellent game too). I do believe that the mediocre sales of Alan Wake were the main reason for this XBLA title though, and that the franchise got "degraded" a bit. Btw, do you remember when that MS representative said they don't have a deal with Remedy and he said it almost in a disrespectful way? He would definitely not have had that attitude if Alan Wake was a clear success.
