There is also a lot of cats! ^_^ Mr Khan told me himself!

You're are very, very lucky Smeags! I wish I could go to Japan. Also... when you live in Florida Disney and all the other theme parks become very bland and boring since you have gone to them too many times. xD

I lived in Orange County, CA for 16 years (Lived 20 minutes away from Disneyland, saw the fireworks every night ), so I kinda know what ya mean. Still, I'm a huge fan of Disneyland... one of the reasons I loved Epic Micky so much. ^_^

And I meant I'm going to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, not Japan. Gonna get myself so Butterbeer.

I've been specifically warned against Butterbeer by a fellow study abroad student i met here who lives in Orlando. He says its very overwhelming, and not in a good way.

@ Signalstar, yes and no. You have to be careful for gold-diggers, because the Japanese assume that all Americans (unless they're GIs) are rich, so some women may show an interest in an effort to pump you for some money. American men have the advantage in that Japan is slow to adapt to women's rights, so some Japanese women who might be opposed to traditional women's roles may look for a Westerner to love as an out.

Otherwise they're about as receptive as anywhere else.

I only have one question, how receptive our the Japanese females to dating an American guy?

VERY!!!

If you're looking for a Japanese girlfriend, chances are high you'll find one! Japanese women love foreigners! But indeed you have to be careful, for reasons stated by Khan.

Need something off Play-Asia? http://www.play-asia.com/

Listening to some of your stories I'm becoming very intrigued about maybe spending some time in Japan. I'm only 19 though, so money would be a stumbling block.

Good to hear you are having a good time there. I was planning to go there last year, but one of my relatives was in a very bad financial hardship so I gave him the money and now I am kinda broke to do it... I am hoping to do it next year though.

3 for one Figurine get! I knew there was a reasonably cheap Yuki Nagato in a certain store in a place called Nakano Broadway (it's like mini-Akihabara), and managed to find it after digging through stock. It is used and slightly damaged (a discolored spot on her elbow, but it's so small that the clerk had to take it out of the box to show me), but the kicker comes in the two-for-one deal of 1/6th scale Panty and Stocking (of Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt fame) for less even than the Yuki Nagato.

Yuki comes with her witch outfit and two seasonal school uniforms, as well as a pair of glasses

Good god i need help. But tomorrow should be more wholesome: hanami (cherry blossom viewing) at Ueno Park.

I thought it was called Sakura?

Are you a full on figurine collector? That's what you always seem to talk about in this thread. XD Have you found any other good games?

Wow... you actually went to the Sumo Tournament?

I trust no one, not even myself.

My guess is Sakura = cherry blossoms

Hanami= cherry blossom viewing aka the act of looking at cherry blossoms falling down a tree.

I am interested in Japan  I would like to visit it once just dont have the time right now but maybe studying a semester in Japan would be nice.

Netyaroze got it right. Sakura are what the blossoms are called, but hanami, literally 花見、 has the parts hana 花 "flower" and 見 mi "look."
