When the DLC is actually worth the money, yes. Fallout and GTA DLCs are good examples of how DLC is done. DLC like mappacks and songpacks are the wrong way. The worst are the Unlock codes of only a few bytes and the likes, they are disgusting and should be banned. Ridiculous that you have to pay to unlock costumes for characters.

I bought the Gears 3 season pass have mixed feelings on the content but def get my money's worth since that has been my go to game for online multiplayer. I never buy COD DLC and did buy a fair amount of UC2 DLC since I played that a lot. I did not buy the UC3 Season pass cause for some reason UC3's multiplayer didnt stick with me I dont know why.

I'm addicted to DLC. I love it. I kinda worry, though. There's a pretty good article in the latest issue of Game Informer that asks if games are going to have an expiration date. For example, there's content for the game Batman Arkham City that's only available via DLC. If you can't download, a pretty substantial part of the story is lost to you (Catwoman's story). Thing is, these servers aren't going to be available forever.

You can buy a game today and have a blast with it. Later down the line, your console can break down or the servers can go down and suddenly, your game is gone forever. I have Double Dragon (Arcade game) for Xbox Live. It's no longer available for download. Things like DLC and patches mean we can't just get a copy of a game and a console ten years from now and have the full experience. You may not even be able to play the games you own, now.

DLC has its good sides, but I'm generally against it. Only DLC I've bought was in Farmville.

Usually I only buy DLCs for RPGs. Oblivion DLCs (the latter ones, not the first ones), ME1&ME2 and DA:O DLCs were worth it.

I always buy DLC I like to see the new content and it extends the life of the games I'm playing! I always look forward to DLC announcements for the games I own.

I'm so bad, I've bought DLC for games I haven't even played and I don't even use the DLC. I've purchased Darth Vader for Soul Calibur 4 on the 360 and I've never even seen him, yet. I purchased the season pass for WWE 12, and I haven't even downloaded my free characters. I extend the life of games I don't even care about.
