MGS3: Subsistance was fucking epic online. It was so god damn good. It was a sad day when they shut down the servers.

you didnt miss much. IMHO this thing had alot of potential, but it was too messed, up. Having to have Konami account and MGS account was stupid, it took forever to DL. The gameplay was too slow. the leveling was brutal. Im a fan but im not sad to see this go

well its a start, should they choose to implement multiplayer again, they'll hopefully learn from their mistakes

Metal Gear Solid 3 had multiplayer...if you bought the Subsistance edition. I honestly think it was better done and MGS4 online was a step back.
